I have to admit, I am a little jealous of Colorado’s snow fall already this year! I heard from a friend in Denver that she has 3 feet chillin in the front of her house, and it’s only November! I keep teasing myself by looking at weather.com to see if any good signs are ahead of us! … no bueno so far. This weekend looks sunny and breezy, no rain, no snow.

2nd Annual South Town Throw Down

So, many of you are already aware of the competition for snowboarders and skiiers South Shore Fitted put on last year in October, South Town Throw Down. This year the competition is BIGGER and BETTER than ever!

 On Saturday November 21st, the 2nd Annual South Town Throw Down will take place at Super 8 Hotel and Mo’s Place, right off HWY 50 and Lake Tahoe Blvd. This is an OPEN competition to show off your best trick as a snowboarder or skiier! The South Shore Fitted’s Snowboarding Team and The South Shore Fitted Ski Team will have their own battle to see who can throw down the best trick as well as our professional guests!

The 2nd Annual South Town Throw Down of 2009 will feature a structure built by Oncourse Events consisting of two ledges and a double down 8 inch flat bar handrail!

If you live in the South Lake Tahoe area or know you will be in town during this event and would like to compete, please contact South Shore Fitted directly at (530)542-3481.

This competition is OPEN to 16 years old and older, anyone under 18 years of age will need a parent to come in and sign a waiver form.

There is ONE position available on the South Shore Fitted Snowboarding Team and ONE position available on the South Shore Fitted Ski Team, come show us what you’ve got!!

Technine F.O.D.T/Lil B and DJ Jack

Okay, so the Technine F.O.D.T “Hard To Earn” Movie Premier was this last weekend at Bar 24 inside Bill’s Casino in South Lake Tahoe, CA. We had a pretty good turn out for this being our first event of the 2009/2010 Winter Season! We showed 2 films and had a live performance from Lil B from The Pack! DJ Jack and Lil B killed it at the event! If you’re planning to visit South Lake Tahoe anytime this winter, keep your eyes and ears out for any more event’s that Lil B and DJ Jack will be at! Lil b also just published his very first book, “Takin’ Over by Imposing the Positive!” My Personal Rap To You. Look for it at a store near you!

South Shore Fitted, Lil B and DJ Jack are in the works of filming a music video together in South Lake Tahoe this year. Stay tuned for more details…..

Technine “Hard To Earn” Movie Premier

 

South Shore Fitted is proud to be part of Technine’s Movie Premier for “Hard To Earn” in South Lake Tahoe! This fun event is taking place at Bar 24 inside Bill’s casino on Saturday October 24, 2009! With performances by Lil B from The Pack and there will be a raffle to win gear from Technine, Sierra at Tahoe, Sound Outer wear, Nomis Street wear and Neff! This is a 21+ event so be prepared to show ID at the door! $8 pre-sale tickets are available at South Shore Fitted and tickets will be sold at the door for $10.
